Chapel Lodge is situated in the small picturesque village of Compton Dundon, Somerset, on the B3151 between Somerton and Street, home of Millfield School and Clarks Village Discount Retail Outlet and not far from Glastonbury Tor , Millfield Preparatory School and the Somerset Levels.

The Lodge is owned and ran by Lynda Bennett, Lynda prides herself in making all her guests feel at home from the moment they walk through the door and as a consequence she has received a RAC warm welcome award.

The property was built as a chapel in the 1800's, but from 1937 was called the King George VI Coronation Hall, and was used by the village for every function and celebration, until its closure in 2000.
